Our foundation

White Horse Law Group was founded by Virginia Beach native, Jeff S. Howell, Jr. In 2014, Jeff  entered law practice with one goal: helping entrepreneurs, founders, and value creators navigate the battlefield of business. White Horse Law Group is the latest chapter in that lifelong mission.

Jeff is a passionate Catholic and lifelong martial artist whose values were forged during nearly two decades of summers working for his family’s construction company. During that time, Jeff learned anything worth doing is worth doing right and that those willing to prayerfully do the hard work of creation can achieve anything. This life experience has made Jeff and his team natural advocates for overcoming the obstacles encountered by self-employed tradesmen and other small, local and family-owned businesses.

Our firm prides itself in a two-fold practice philosophy which mirrors our clients’ operations more than it does the typical law firm:
